the venue

The Yorkshire Ability Triathlon takes place at the Leeds Beckett University Headingley Campus on Sunday May 19th. The facilities are ideal for accessible activities, with plenty of room for supporters.

Free parking is available on Headingley Campus and can be accessed via St. Chad's Drive. For sat nav please use LS6 3QS. What3words: spring.jazz.note. We will aim to start the event at 10am and ask participants to arrive from 9.30am, when registration opens.

Facilities

Participants will get the chance to use the campus’s 21-metre pool and eight-lane athletics track. In the event of bad weather, we will have access to the sports halls within the campus, and if necessary, we will hold the run and cycle events inside.

Athletics track

We use a 400-metre athletics track, with plenty of space for everyone to complete the cycle & run. 

Swimming pool

There is a 21-metre pool, perfect for completing the swim section of the Yorkshire Ability Triathlon.

Accessibility

Access to all areas of the site that are being utilised is completely step-free.
